On March 29, 2022, the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Song chart will go live on the Billboard website, ranking the top 50 popular afrobeats songs in the United States.
This is a significant step forward for Afrobeats as a genre. As huge international collaborations have been recorded thus far, it is quickly becoming a worldwide and widely accepted sound, and the artists are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with.
