Davido rocks in beautiful Ghanaian Kente on his Birthday, calls himself Ohene and Torgbi
Nigerian heavyweight music and “Fem” crooner, Davido has show his affiliation to the small West African country that’s considered the second home to most Nigerian celebs, the singer decided to pay homage to Ghana on his 28th birthday.
Davido shared a beautiful photo of himself clad in Kente, a Ghanaian textile, made of handwoven cloth strips of silk and cotton. Historically the fabric was worn in a toga-like fashion by royalty among ethnic groups including the Ashanti, the Akyem, and the Fante.

Sharing the photo on his Instagram page, Davido called himself King in two Ghanaian languages, Ohene (Twi), Torgbi (Ewe). See the photo below
